Audiobook News!

Guys, I have some exciting news that I’ve been sitting on for FOOOREEVVEERRRRR!

CALLED (Holloway Pack 1) is coming to Audiobook!!!!

Yep, after much behind-the scenes work, I’m so happy to be able to finally announce this.
it started back in March, when I began scouring for audio narrators I believed could be a good fit for Jem, and after a request to narrator Hannah Crichton, I got a yes and a contract was set up.

\o/ \o/ \o/

Since then, I’ve been listening to individual chapters of Called, as Hannah has been sending them through, and giving feedback where required. She’s currently two-thirds of the way through, and I’m hoping we’ll have the entire book completed by end of September, meaning that sometime around then I should have a release date for y’all.

Which means anyone who has been waiting and asking for Called to come to audio will FINALLY be able to listen to Called, and hopefully, the rest of the Holloway Pack series if I can continue to find narrators as great as Hannah who can do the books justice and I feel I work well with.

In the meantime, for anyone who’d like to catch up with Jem and Sean before the audiobook gets here ….

New Look, Same Great Series!

Guys, I know I’ve been missing in action for a while. Okay, for far too long. But trust me when I say I’ve been working hard to do the best I can do for my currently-released titles before moving on to writing new stuff. And thankfully, finally, the all-important updates that have had me at me screen for hours a day are DONE!

Yep, (as the post title suggests) after much deliberation, the Holloway Pack series has had a much-deserved face-lift.
Not only have books one and two been given new titles in keeping with the rest of the series, and book one been given a new blurb, but the ENTIRE series has been graced with new covers that I ABSOLUTELY LUUURVE!

Take a look below.

And if you fancy seeing these beauts on your bookshelf or Kindle, the buy now links will take you directly to the series’ page on Amazon.

Do you all love them as much as I do?
I hope so.

And for a limited time only, you can grab it for FREE with Kindle Unlimited!

From a charity auction, to a stroll in the park, to the craziest night of her life.

Nicole Harrington can’t help but wonder how a simple event went so drastically wrong. Of course, the male escort she booked is wholly to blame.

Not only charming but shrewdly intelligent, Benjamin Gold drags Nicole into a platoon of unimaginable problems-ones from which she’ll have to find the courage just to survive.

Event News

Howdy guys, just running through with an announcement.

On October 7th 2017, Hourglass Events is bring The Darker Side of Fiction author signing to Peterborough, UK.

And I’m proud and very excited to announce that I’ve signed up as one of the attending authors.

They even announced me on their site!

My first multi-author signing!

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t crapping my pants a whole big lot little. I mean, I’m by no means a people person. Hate crowds. Clam up around strangers.

So this is a pretty big step for me–both as an author AND as a person. Like, a MAHOOSIVE step. GARGANTUAN! A FREAKING T-REX of a step!

And I freaking signed up for THIS! lmao.

So, if you’re in Peterborough on October 7th 2017, and you just happen to be attending The Darker Side of Fiction, don’t be scared. My lack of social skills ain’t contagious, even if it might look that way. 😉

And if you live in the UK and want to know more about the event, you can join #TheDarkerSideofFiction where they keep everyone updated. ☺

Psst, the tickets go on sale in October. Just saying. 😉

Cheers for reading. ♥

*Weekly Check-in

Welcome to my weekly check-in where I post what I’ve been up to this past week.

Did I meet my writing target?

Well …

I’ve barely written a word in the past couple of weeks, as I currently have my MIL staying with me, and she shares my work space during the day, and likes to randomly talk to me, or if watching TV and laughs out loud at something, expects me to have paid attention so I can join in …. So, I’ve had to forego this for a few weeks until I get my space back and can focus a little better. So it might even be a couple more weeks, almost, before I can fully knuckle down once more.

Sucks a little, but at least I’m getting some family time with her.

As always, if you want to find out exactly what I’m writing, be sure to add Cornered to your Goodreads tbr.

And my Jenna Lyn Field target?

Well, this hasn’t been such a fail. Because whilst I can’t focus to WRITE when I have company, I CAN focus to draw, and so I’ve already begun designs for the second volume Advanced Colouring book.

On top of that, I spent last week creating all of the files for the first Advanced Colouring book, and uploaded them to the printer, received and approved the proof copy, and … Colour Me Funky – Advanced Colouring will be officially releasing on MONDAY!

Take a gander:

So, I’m very happy with this progress.

On the editing front?

Well, due to a postponement, I haven’t had any editing gigs since the beginning of August. However, I did get a last minute request from a new client, and that’s due to arrive today, so I’m pretty sure my break is about to be over.

What else happened this week?

Well, the house renovations are still ongoing and my house is still muchero upside down as a result. This is another reason I haven’t had much writing time, because I’ve had to make so many impromptu visits to B&Q for needed tools and pipework and paint and–gargh!–just about everything, I’ve reached a stage where I now hate the sight of the place. Seriously. But I’m truly seeing some end in sight for the room currently being done, after which I shall breathe a huge sigh of relief … until the next room reno begins.

Okay, so what’s everyone else been up to this week? Meet your goals? Talk to me.
