After much consideration, I went and created a new Facebook group for hanging out in, and I would love for you to join us.
Belfield’s MotherBookers is there for chats, and fun, and games, and keeping in touch – not only with what I’m working on, what I’m releasing, where my head’s at, but with other likeminded readers, too.
Sound up your street?
Then pop over and say hi, and if you like the look of it, maybe stick around.
To a lot of people, it probably feels as though the world has gone to shit right now.
People are panicking. People are getting sick. People are dying.
And not just people on the news, for some of us, but people we know. Family. Friends. Work colleagues, or acquaintances.
I, for one, need a way to escape the ever-evolving anxiety this current climate is evoking in me like a bloody cattle prod to my ribs. And the best way for me to do that is by losing myself to the pages of a great book and imagining myself somewhere else, as someone else, and dealing with anything other than what is happening outside of the four walls of my sanctuary.
So, I figured what better way to try and lift the spirits of other like-minded readers out there than by offering the chance to read some books for free (or really, really cheap)?
If you fancy losing yourself for a while, simply click on either of the images below, and feel free to share any great reads that have got you through this so far. What other methods are you employing to get through the stress of Covid-19?
Most of all, take care of yourselves, peeps. And take care of those you hold dear, too.
