Good Sunday, everyone. Thank you all so much for revisiting my snippets each week. It is very much appreciated.

This week’s post is again from my paranormal romance novel, Darkness & Light, and is brought to you from Chapter 14: a conversation between Sean and Jem–right after Sean tells Jem that the man she’s with isn’t right for her.

Hope you enjoy.

[Jem]: “How can you possibly know that, Sean?”

[Sean]: “Because he’s not me.”

[Jem]: “How very arrogant of you.”

[Sean]: “It’s not arrogance, Jem, it’s a fact. I’m the only one who’s right for you. Always have been, always will be.”

So … is it arrogance? Or could he be right?

Cheers for stopping by. Links to the other participants can be found HERE—you really should check them out—or why not sign up and join in the fun yourself?

Darkness & Light is available at the following outlets:

  1. Great use of dialogue, which I always find hard to get to work as a simple emotional tool. You are quite the master of it. Well done!

  2. I call arrogance…but it’s the kind that’s easily forgiven if he’s only speaking the truth : )
