SIX SENTENCE SUNDAY #2 #sixsunday

Last week was a lot of fun. A couple folks hopped over to my blog who hadn’t visited before (thank you for that!). And in turn, I visited their blogs to check out their six sentences. Needless to say, I’m back again for a second round.

As last week, my 6 sentences are brought to you from my paranormal romance novel, Darkness & Light. Here you go:

My hand gave a spasmodic jerk, spattering hot fluid across the tray.

I put my mug down, flexed my scalded fingers before licking them clean. My eyes closed in frustration as I pinched the bridge of my nose.

I did some rapid thinking, tried to recall how many times I’d heard the blasted name in my head.

Thirty-three times in six days. Maybe I was going crazy.

In case you’re wondering, the name she hears is ‘Sean’.

Links to the other participants can be found HERE—you should check them out—or why not sign up and join in the fun yourself?

Darkness & Light is available at the following outlets:

  1. I love that it’s not a voice, but a name she’s hearing in her head. Intriguing six.

  2. The journey of finding out if someone is crazy or not always seems to be an entertaining story 🙂 …is there any numerical significance to 33 times in 6 days?
