I don’t usually share my personal life on my blog. I’ve always kept my writing and private life separate. But when Mr B announced a few weeks ago that he’d booked the same week off work as our two mini-me’s had off school, and that we were heading off to West Wales to spend time with his family, I had mixed feelings.

Well, it had nothing to do with all the traditional mother-in-law anecdotes most married folks spew out (thankfully, me and she have a healthy relationship). It was because I was going to a place I can rarely get Internet access and I knew I would be away for the launch of my book trailer.

Yep, J. Taylor Publishing made me a trailer for Darkness & Light.

Hehehehehehe <<that pretty much sums up how I feel about it.

With less than four weeks until book launch day on 1st July (hot damn, less than FOUR weeks!), my excitable nerves are already all a-tingle, and this is just one more buzz to send a thrum through my pulse. When I received a text message (one of the ones that managed to reach me) from my best friend, telling me that my trailer was online, I did a silly little jig that most embarrassing uncles at wedding parties would have been proud of … and that was without even seeing it.

By the time I reached home, late Friday night, the Darkness and Light Trailer had been exposed for almost 60 hours, and I could not wait to delve right in there and take a look at the finished product.

Sure, I’d seen it in bits and pieces. I even got to participate in the selection of images to be used, and my opinions were taken into consideration during the building of it.

But … I hadn’t seen it in all its glory (I’m a little embarrassed to admit how many times I’ve watched it since then).

And now my time has come to share with any who haven’t had the opportunity to view it already.

So … I give you … (cue dramatic drum roll, please) The Darkness & Light Book Trailer:

Well … whatcha think?

  1. ….as if I needed any more reason to buy the book when it comes out…
This trailer is AWESOME! I’d have watched it over and over too 🙂 How exciting to have another tangible piece of what’s to come!

  2. The trailer is fantastic. Love that sort of thing. And time is moving now — won’t be long before we all scramble to purchase a copy of D&L.

    So excited for you!

  3. Wow, 4 weeks! I’m all a jitter for you. The trailer just makes me want to read D&L all the more!!!! 🙂

  4. omgosh, fan-freaking-tastic! 😀 I love the trailer. Hehe and yes, I too have watched it over, and over, and over 😉 Wow, time is zipping by, barely a month away now before release day! Yippeee! 😀

    1. Hehehehe, you’ve made me sit tittering to myself in my kitchen. If I ever need to hire a cheerleader for promotional purposes, you’re definitely it. :):):)
