Good Sunday, everyone. Thank you all so much for revisiting my snippets each week. It is very much appreciated.
This week’s post is again from my paranormal romance novel, Darkness & Light, and is brought to you from Chapter 14: a conversation between Sean and Jem–right after Sean tells Jem that the man she’s with isn’t right for her.
Hope you enjoy.
[Jem]: “How can you possibly know that, Sean?”
[Sean]: “Because he’s not me.”
[Jem]: “How very arrogant of you.”
[Sean]: “It’s not arrogance, Jem, it’s a fact. I’m the only one who’s right for you. Always have been, always will be.”
So … is it arrogance? Or could he be right?

Great use of dialogue, which I always find hard to get to work as a simple emotional tool. You are quite the master of it. Well done!

I call arrogance…but it’s the kind that’s easily forgiven if he’s only speaking the truth : )

Of course he’s speaking the truth, LOL. And of course he’s forgiven.
